Muhammad Inuwa has formally assumed leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Katsina State following the launch of the party’s nationwide membership registration exercise in Abuja.
The event, which attracted senior party officials and stakeholders from across the country, marked a significant milestone in the ADC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its organisational base ahead of future elections.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Inuwa pledged to work towards building a strong and inclusive party structure in Katsina State, stressing the need for unity and collective action to advance development-oriented policies.
He said the ADC was committed to promoting a new political direction anchored on transparency, justice and people-centred development, and urged youths, women and other segments of society to embrace the party’s vision for Katsina State and Nigeria at large.
Dr. Inuwa expressed confidence that the ADC could attract up to 20 million members nationwide, citing growing public interest and support for what he described as the party’s renewed political agenda.
According to him, unity, effective organisation and credible leadership would be critical to the ADC’s success in forthcoming elections.
The programme ended on an optimistic note, with party supporters reaffirming their backing for the new leadership and the ADC’s broader political aspirations.
